Christmas Day

26 December 2012

Hey everyone!

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas full of family, friends, food & general merriment! I'm sure you're all like me and probably watched incredibly bad Christmas telly whilst demolishing your chocolate supplies.. at least I hope so!

Thought I'd put some photos up from Christmas Eve & Christmas Day..

Christmas Eve

As is tradition in our house, we baked our mince pies on Christmas Eve - and made some mulled wine to go with them! With a wee splash of Champagne & Brandy sauce from M&S, the mince pies were gorgeous. Definitely half the reason I'll be rolling into January..

The Vintage Tea Party Year by Angel Adoree

Such a beautifully illustrated & written book! This is probably one of my favourite gifts this year. It's got tea party ideas for every kind of occasion (e.g. Hen, Wedding, Christmas, Gentlemen's, etc). Full of cake recipes & cocktail mixes as well as little guides and how-to's, like the Minnie Mouse Ears Hair-style! Love it lots and I recommend people to buy it if you're into this kind of thing! For me, it's pretty much the ultimate.

A final ignite of the Yankee Christmas Cupcake candle, and Christmas comes to an end for 2012..

Hope you enjoyed my Christmas post, and I'll be back with some beauty reviews I have piling up ready to write for 2013 (e.g. Origins, Clarins, Bourjois, Urban Decay, Seche Vite, etc). I'm pretty excited to spend the coming weekend and into next week with my boyfriend, who I haven't seen in 3 weeks!! Gonna make up for it at Hogmanay, which I'm spending at a house party this time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog this year and have a fantastic New Year!

For now, I'm off to review the new Urban Decay Basics Palette for Debenhams Beauty Club, which I was lucky enough to receive as a VIP reviewer!

xoxo
