Christmas Day WIWT
WIWT

Christmas Day has been & gone *sad face*. But, after three (or four) days of consuming copious amounts of chocolate, yule log & turkey, it's time to slowly get back to reality! And, boy, am I excited to start a new year with a fresh pair of eyes and a renewed set of goals. The gym is also calling me.. eek!

More on that later.. Let's take a look back on what I wore on Christmas Day at home & a wee peek at some of my Christmassy pictures!

It was so lovely to spend time around my little family eating my mum's amazing Christmas Lunch & seeing everyone's faces when they opened presents on Christmas morning. This year, I made little stockings for each of my parents (just for a change!), and it was nice to have them get the same experience as I do with my stocking!

My Main Present ♥

As for gifts, I'm not gonna sit and list out anything like last year (I hear a lot of bloggers are avoiding this route too!), but this year I received the best & most useful gift ever - my wee iPad mini, complete with a very Laura-ish cover!

iPad Mini with cover from Next (I think!?)
I've been on it sooo often since Christmas Day, and I'm making it my newest blogging asset! Already filled up & synced my Evernote app with lots of new blog post ideas. Yay! It's basically my baby..

Christmas Lunch

Loved our crackers from Paperchase! All of them had mini baking tools like a mini Gingerbread cutter, silicone star muffin case, et al. CUTE!

Our Christmas Tree, with decorations from Accessorize, Highland markets, Edinburgh gift shops, Cath Kidston, Tesco, Lindt, et al.
How was your Christmas? Did you fill up on lots of comforting food with all your loved ones by your side? And, has all this celebrating got you feeling refreshed for 2014?!

PS - here's a festive vlog Gillian took of our time at the Edinburgh Christmas Market earlier this month with Terri & Jenn..

  1. It looks like you had a lovely Christmas! Loving your outfit - very cute and festive :) It's cute that you made stockings for your parents, and I love the sound of those paperchase crackers! Amazing! Totally jealous about your iPad Mini - I'm going to be saving up for one, although my Grandad gave me some money for Christmas so I already have quite a big chunk for it :D Have you got the wifi one or the one with 3G too?
I've had a lovely Christmas too - loved spending it with my nephew, that was the best bit! I've eaten a lot of naughty things though, so looking forward to getting back in the gym/healthy eating game next week!
