Three Things

5 January 2014

Hey!

This is a new feature for the blog: 'Three Things' which have made me turn my frown upside down this week!

I cheekily stole this idea from my best friend Emma (go check out her blog!) as I think it's a really amazing thing to look back on over the year, as opposed to merely summing up the week. As my bestie is also doing it, we can also be each other's encouragement!

It took me a while to think how to format my Sunday posts, so please let me know if you enjoy it - and even if it has inspired you to start your own cheery series..!

I also don't want anyone to forget that we all have bad days & weeks (or even years), but that it's really important to acknowledge the good things & not to get too lost in negativity!

1. First things first: this week I spent New Year's Eve with a group of wonderful new friends; each of whom I met through blogging last year. It's so amazing & funny for us to think that we've become such a close bunch since only last Summer! We spent the bells at Kirsty's cute little flat & then went out to a bar afterwards. Wouldn't have had it any other way this year ♥

PS - I totally forgot to take a WIWT post.. oops!

2. I got questionable glittery shooooooes in the ASOS sale! That is all.

3. Kirsty became my guardian angel & rocked up at midnight to my flat (!) to just cheer me up. Sitting in our onesies til 3am chatting rubbish made me feel so silly for having a bad case of New Year Blues. Definitely found a pal for life ♥

What are your top 3 things this week? Are you busy plotting out 2014 adventures or polishing off the last of those Santa shaped chocolates..? Let me know!

xoxo

  5. It's so amazing how many lovely people you can meet through blogging! I'm bedbound so don't know many people but through starting my blog I've met a friend in the same situation who I now talk to about everything, warts and all! Ooh, love the shoes.
