Debenhams AW14: Christmas Beauty Treats

30 September 2014

First off, sorry for the lack of posts on The Likely Lady this month. I've just started a new job where I'm writing digital content every day, so it's a tough thing to come home and write more! However, I've worked out a system so I'll get more done. I hope you can forgive me, haha!

Anyway! This month, I popped over to Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow once more for the Debenhams AW14 Press Show. It was a night filled with fizz, beauty treats & new season fashion.. So here's what I spotted amongst the beauty goodies (my favourite part every season, I'll be honest!)

I hopped on the train along to Glasgow after a long day at work in Edinburgh and met my pal Brionny to head into Blythswood Square for the Debenhams press evening. After a few cheeky welcome beverages (!), we had a look around the Womenswear and Accessories areas. I definiiiitely fell in love with the new Todd Lynn / EDITION collection which is making its way into Debenhams stores this autumn.

Sneak peek:
All Todd Lynn / EDITION at Debenhams, in stores this autumn.

The new Philosophy Christmas range! Perfect stocking fillers, right there..! Super cute. In store soon.

I wanttttt this Balance Me Rose Otto Body Balm! Not yet out, it appears. Stay tuned..

I've always wanted to try out the Trilogy products, particularly the Trilogy Rose Hip Oil, so I'll be stocking up this winter when my skin starts to feel the effects of heating and harsh winds..!

GUYS! Elemis have a 12 Days of Beauty advent calendar! Squeeeeeeee! It features 12 travel sized luxury Elemis products, all for RRP £60. The range would be worth £113 if bought individually, so it's a pretty good deal if you ask me.. one for treating your mum (or yourself..) this winter!

I'm yet to try out the bareMinerals Bare Skin base, but I'll be whipping out the sample size product I received in my goodie bag. I loved this set-up - what a great colour range!

I had to do a double take when I first spotted this Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette, as I already have the first Basics palette (and use it every single day), and this is pretty closely matched.. However, these shades are a tad darker, so a little better for those medium skin-toned ladies who are seeking a day-time eye palette.

Steam Cream Christmas tins.. Cute or what? I wouldn't mind waking up to one of these little guys in my stocking come Christmas morning!

THE BEST PART. Benefit's advent calendar is incrediiiible. When Claire told me to go and check out the Benefit area, I understood what she meant instantly.. What a feast for the eyes. I definitely want this!

Leading Lady, aka the most beautiful nail colour ever from Essie! Brionny lucked out with this in her goodie bag, the swiiiiine...
What are you most looking forward to out of the new season beauty releases? And, will you be sticking the Benefit advent calendar on your Christmas wishlist..?

All products will be available at Debenhams in the coming months.

xoxo
