When they turned up earlier than expected, due to the Royal Mail delivery option selected, I was pleasantly surprised. It would definitely be preferable to select the courier option, however, if you needed them on a particular day. The flowers themselves were in wonderful condition, having arrived in a sturdy box and the flowers yet to open (rather teasingly, but definitely prolonging the loveliness, of course!)
Five days later, they're in full bloom and put a big grin on my face every time I look up from tapping away at the keyboard to write this post. As much as it can add up when buying flowers regularly, it really does make such a difference to your mentality when you have fresh flowers in the house. Maybe it's just me, but it even makes me want to keep the rest of the room a whole lot tidier and let them take pride of place. Beautiful!
Top tip: To keep your blooms fresher for longer, add a sprinkle of sugar into the water!
