As we go into the cooler months, there's one thing I get truly excited about: staying in on an evening, curled up in blankets and sipping hot chocolate with not a care in the world. Yes, I am that sad. I can't help it, guys!
So, with that in mind, it was time to get my bedroom all spruced up and ready for the upcoming evenings in. Just my luck that George at ASDA have an amazing wee selection of homewares* in right now! I set about picking up a few bargains from there and Tiger* to make my room feel more current me and less University me..

First off, I picked up these very cute cushions. Having had my old cushions for a good few years, it has made a world of difference throwing fresh ones on my bed in the morning. Especially when they all follow a complementary colour scheme for once!
Next, I caved in and got myself this little Buddha. And yeah, I know 100,000 people will hate me for it but, quite honestly, I do not care. Say what you like. I've always wanted one and it feels lovely and serene to have that visual reminder to stay in the moment and clear my mind; something I often forget to do when I'm lying in bed worrying.

|Gold polka dot vase | All Good Things art (out of stock) | Gold polka dot tray|
How lovely are these gold polka dot accessories? Verrrry me. I knew I needed a place to stash earrings, accessories and kirby grips that were going astray so this little ceramic tray was right up my street when I spotted it. The vase was a necessity too; it was time to stop nabbing my flatmate's vases and have one just for me.

|Diamond print straws* | Paper Cups*|
What have you got your eye on updating in your home this autumn?
* Disclosure: I bought the George at ASDA items myself before receiving an email inviting me to curate a wish-list for further products in exchange for a gift voucher to complete my collection. The Tiger items were gifted to me, which I have chosen to write about without payment. As ever, all opinions are my own.
